It's hard to get everything ready when you are so out there. Later I'll have to add a pic of how big I am. It's kinda freaky how far out my stomach can truly go. I had an appointment on Tuesday and I'm dialated to a 3 1/2. With Gavin I was already between a 4 and 5 at this point. My due date is June 30th. Cade was 7 days early, Jack 3 weeks early, and Gavin was 11 days early...so the countdown is on. Tomarrow would be 11 days early and that is Dylan's birthday. So we could have two kids with the same birthday. I'm having contractions. That really started last night and is off and on. I had a hard time sleeping last night because of them. They're not really strong yet, but strong enough to be annoying and irritating. This happened with Gavin for 3 days and each day it got worse and worse and then I had him. So I can't help but think I won't make it past this weekend. It would be kinda cool if he was born on my birthday next week because it is also my mother in laws birthday too. We would have 3 generations born on June 26. I'm not thinking I'll make it that long, but you never know. I also wouldn't mind having a July birthday since we will have 7 family birthdays in June and Father's Day. How cool would it be to have a birthday on the Fourth. I know I'm taking crazy because that would kill me to go that far over. This is definately an exciting time waiting for this sweet baby to join our family. I know there are some that think I'm crazy for wanting such a big family, but I just love it. I couldn't imagine my life without them. Life is definately never boring with 4 soon to be 5 boys around. It is soo much fun!! Life can get crazy at times, but it's a good crazy. I just remember back to General Conference when we were told we would miss the handprints on the wall and the piles of laundry and I think that is so true. Even when they cry and have tantrums I try to remember that I will miss this someday. My mom told me when I was little I always said I was going to have 6 kids, but she thought I would be more career orientated from watching me. I don't remember that, but that is pretty funny. I'll keep everyone informed over the next couple of days...weeks?? The count down is on.

Mother's Day 2009 (May 11)

My first gift of the day was that Chad didn't have to be at the church at 6 a.m. this morning for meetings. I could actually take my time getting ready while he got the kids breakfast and clothes on. We actually got to sit up close that morning since we were 10 minutes early. Something that doesn't happen often. My 2nd gift of the day was that Jackson gave his first talk as a sunbeam. He did it on Baptism. I was afraid he wouldn't say a word when he got up in front of everyone since he wouldn't even go to the front in sacrament meeting to sing with all the other children. Chad brought him to Bishop's office to get a candy and put it in his pocket. Told him he was going to say the words in his ear and if he spoke into the microphone nice and loud he could have the candy when he was done. Bribery...works every time! :-)

He would lean over to Chad to hear what he was going to say and then started to say it before he got to the mic....so we heard most of his talk. He did a good job though and we are proud of him.

I love all the gifts the boys made for me. Dylan made a guy with his pic in it. Cade made me a flower pen and a clip for recipes. They all made me pictures and cards. Notice Dylan's gift bag to me? "I love you pregnant." I got a good laugh from that. Jackson is still giving me gifts. He must of hid them and forgot about them. Two days ago he brought me a necklace that he made of noodles and yesterday he brought me a mother's day poem on a sunflower he made. So their gifts are still coming. They get so excited to give them and I love receiving them.

Father Son Campout - April 24, 2009

The boys always enjoy the father son campout. They get so excited as it approaches. Jack asked me about 10 times a day for 5 days when they get to go camping with Dad. Then he would say, "You and Gavers no come...Gavers too small." He couldn't understand why I wasn't coming so I just told him it was because Gavin was too small. He seemed satisfied with that answer but still couldn't help but repeat it all the time. Chad hates camping. He would much rather stay in a cabin but he does it for his boys because he knows how much they love it. I always feel bad for him the next day because he is sooo tired from lack of sleep on the ground in a tent. It doesn't phase the boys though. Chad took the first pic that night that they got there. I told him I wish he would have taken that same pic the next day in the daylight.

Brother Fackrell made a swing out of a chair and Brother Fisher helped push each of the boys. The kids make the holidays so much fun for me. I'll miss it when these years are over. It's a time of year where we can really contemplate the true meaning of Easter. The Atonement and the ressurection of Jesus Christ. Because He loves us so much he was willing to pay the price of our sins by dying a painful death. He bleed from every pore beacause of our transgressions so that we could live with Him and Heavenly Father again. He was ressurected on the third day so that we too can be ressurected and have our bodies reunited with our spirts once again. What a wonderful gift that is to each of us. Although I love all the fun things of Easter it's important not to forget the true meaning.

The boys woke up excited to see what the Easter Bunny brought them.

Needless to say they were not disapointed. I think the Easter Bunny goes overboard on the candy each year. You think she would get it right by now. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for the peace it brought mom and dad on our 12 1/2 hour trek home.

Jackson's Pre-school Easter Party (April 9, 2009)

Gavin and I went to Jack's school for a hunt and party in the class afterwards. Gavin enjoyed it too. He wouldn't do the hunt though. I don't think he really understood it. He enjoyed the candy from inside an egg a student gave him. Jack had lot's of fun. He really loves going to school now. At the beginning he was so timid and unsure. Not anymore. He looks forward to the days he gets to go to "schoo" wear his backpack, and bring a snack. Just like Caden...it was pre-school that has helped him to go to Sunbeams (sunday school) without crying. The sunday right after his first week of school is all it took. They raced three cars at a time. Each boy got to race 6 times. One point for 3rd, two points for 2nd, and three points for 1st. Then they added up the points. Chad was out of town that night and was very disapointed that he could'nt be there. I had to put the graphite in the wheels and add a penny to make the weight just right.

Gavin, Jack and Cade supporting Dylan. I don't know if the graphite finally kicked in or what. I noticed at the end one of the front wheels started to come out. I wonder if thats what started making his car go faster. He tied with 3 others for 18th out of 30. We were happy to win a couple races. When the T.V. is turned off you can't tell it's broken. This happened on Saturday, April 4th. The boys had a wrestling tournament so we decided to tape general conference and watch it later that evening. (For those unfamilar..general conference is held twice a year and was that sat and sun and we receive spiritual guidance from the leaders of our church.) I had to run an errand and Chad had the boys play the Wii until I got back. When I got home he broke the news to me. Anyone want a 5 year old? It is Chad and my fault because we don't enforce them wearing the straps around their wrists. So, if any of you have the Wii...make your kids wear the wrist straps!!! They're not all stories...the remote really can go through the T.V. I called the T.V. repair man and he said to find a big black trash can and throw it in and go buy a new one. Unfortunately there is no fixing this. So Sunday we decided we could at least listen to conference because you could still hear sound on the T.V...just no picture. Well, on Sunday morning we turned it on and even the sound was gone. So we set up the laptop on the kitchen table for the kids with their coloring books and Chad and I watched conference on our bedroom computer. I really needed to be uplifted that day and conference really helped.

On that same Saturday...Gavin broke my cell phone. In the last two weeks our washing machine, video player in the car, and video camera also broke. I was wondering what else could break down. Maybe I shouldn't ask that question out loud. EXPENSIVE TWO WEEKS.

IT'S A....

BOY!!!! We now have our basketball team. Daddy and Dylan thought it would be a girl and Cade, Jack and I guessed it was a boy. We have decided to name him Carson Edgerton. We are really excited and look forward to all the sport events we have ahead of us. The highlight of the week for Chad and I are going to the older boys sporting activities. It's fun to know that won't end anytime soon. In fact the boys wrestling coach was very excited when he found out we were having another boy. Everything looks good. Baby is healthy. I just took my glucose test and I passed. Yeah....no gestational diabetis. I had it with Caden, but he was the only one...thank goodness.

Well, I've had my computer fixed since January, but have been so busy that it's been hard for me to get to posting my journal entries. By the end of the day I'm exhausted and never get to it. So I'm going to try hard to get back to it. I'm also going to "try" and back post a bunch of stuff so family members can see pics I've never shown them and so I'll have them in my blog book. We'll see if I get that done or not. :-) I'm excited to start looking at everyones blog again since I haven't done that lately either.

Good News and Bad News

I always like to start with the bad news first. My computer has broke down yet again. So I'm out of commission for awhile and I guess I'll start off with Thanksgiving day once I get everything back again. The good news? We are expecting Baby Edgerton #5. I'm guessing the due date is between June 29th and July 4th. We are very excited to watch our family grow. The boys like to let me know what the baby's name should be. The names change often and some are pretty funny. Shelton and Alexander are the most recent from Dylan. Both boys names in his class. You see.. we don't discuss girl names in our household because it seems too unlikely. :-) I am all out of ideas for boy names. Any ideas out there for names that go with Dylan, Caden, Jackson and Gavin?

The Turkey Pit (11/26/08)

This was my first year making Thanksgiving dinner...well, with my mom's help of course. In the past we have always gone to family or we have gone to a Thanksgiving buffet because my kids were too few and too young for the hassel and all the major leftovers that would be left to just Chad and I. I had it easy this year because we cooked our turkey underground in a pit overnight.
Some friends of ours in our ward...Buckey and Marcey have done this in their backyard for 3 years now.
We first cleaned out the turkey and then rubbed 4 cubes of butter throughtout it and threw in some garlic and seasoning salt. Then we wrapped it in two turkey oven bags, wrapped it in foil, and then in chicken wire. We made an "E" for Edgerton so we would know which was ours. There were 24 turkeys in the pit this year.

After the turkeys were lowered beams were put across the pit and then plywood on top.

Bucky and a few others are putting dirt on top of the plywood wherever smoke is seen to keep it all in.

We haven't had rain for the last 98 days until last night and it started to rain again so they decided to try and put a tarp on top because the rain was suppose to be heavy. One of their friends got married on Thursday. They flew in early that morning went to the luncheon, reception and then it was off to see Twilight at the midnight showing. On top of it all they both had colds. They are young college students though so they can handle it. I on the other hand being a mother of four was worried I wouldn't stay awake past the credits. I can't remember the last time I was up past tweleve.

Steph and Bridget made us t-shirts. I thought it was so sweet of them to think of me and make me one too. I thought they did a great job on the shirts. Bridget wasn't as happy with hers as she experimented by putting a vampire on the front of hers. She says she "took one for the team":-)

Here's our self portrait before the movie started. There were nine theaters open at the theater we went to and we got there at 10:00 pm....out of all nine theaters the best seats we could find were the fifth row from the front. I had heard people were waiting since 1, 3, and 5 o'clock. Wow.

Another self portrait of us eating popcorn. I thought it was fun being a part of all the excitment. I had never been to a midnight showing before. It was fun being in a theater that packed too. Highlights of the night would include getting to see the new previews for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and when the movie started some guy yelled out, "Edwards ugly" and some girl yelled back, "You're just jealous". That was pretty funny. I thought the movie was good. It beat my expectations. I thought they did a good job staying close to the book. I had a great time and yes I did stay awake the whole time. Went to bed at 3:00 a.m. and woke up at 8:00 a.m. The girls slept in til 11:00 a.m. Another benefit of being a college student. They wanted to be vampires last year and Chad and I talked them into being old men instead. They were excited. On Halloween night we realized we didn't have enough white paint. I went to the store to get some more and I couldn't believe how packed it was with everyone trying to find a last minute costume. Needless to say all the paints were wiped out. So Dad had to do what he could to get it on both boys. I think he did a good job.

"Boo"

Gavin was a ghost for his first Halloween. He didn't wear his costume for very long. He wouldn't let me give him a black nose either. It smeared all over his face. When Caden was a baby he let me do it (he was only 6 months though). He wouldn't put his hands into the holes and he crawled and got his outfit all dirty within minutes. What a cutie!

This is the only picture we got at trunk or treat this year and Chad took it. I was too busy taking care of Gavin. He isn't walking yet and he wanted to crawl, which I didn't want him to do in the parking lot so he put up a fight at times. This is the first year I passed out the candy...Chad usually does that. It was kind of nice to just sit down. Trunk or treat was alot of fun...it's my favorite ward activity. The only night our ward could get trunt or treat was Halloween this year. I like it best when it's a different night because that means two nights of fun. We usually have good food, trick or treat around the neighborhood and get some fold out chairs and sit out in front of the house and pass out candy. We also make homemade candy apples drenched in chocolate, chocolate chips and crushed Oreos. That's okay...we can look forward to that next year. The positive thing out of this was that I didn't have to paint Jack up twice. :-)

Green bath water. No witches, Goblins, anything scary and no masks. They also must bring the book to show what character they are. In the parade they carry around their book and a decorated pumpkin of their character if they wish. At first I was annoyed by this because it meant I had to dig out pieces of pirate costumes from their toy box to put something together for them because they are vampires this year and I didn't want them to go to school being nothing. Then I realized this is the only school I know of that lets them do anything remotely close to having Halloween fun...so I got over it and put something together.

Sonia...do you see yourself in the background? I had to put this picture of Cade walking in the parade because I asked my friend Sonia if she went to the school that day. She said she saw me but that I was in camera mode running thru the classrooms following the parade. When I was going through what pictures to use... low and behold...I saw Sonia sitting in the background. I got a good laugh from that.

I was volunteering in Cade's class today but I had to go back to Dylan's class after the parade to get a picture of him and his teacher Mrs. Neppl.

Cade's class. I didn't want him to miss out. Jack got a little taste of kindergarten. He LOVED the seesaw. He laughed the whole time. I was afraid he was going to go flying off at times since the other kids were so much bigger than him.

This is a picture of Cade's friend Kadie. He talks about her all the time. I was worried Cade would be too shy at school and that's not the case at all. On the first day of school when we came to pick him up he was holding McKenna's hand. That was a big surprise. Chad teased the poor boy so much we haven't seen him do that since. Now it's Kadie this and Kadie that. Her mom packs her little notes in her lunch that say I love you or have a nice day. She always gives them to Cade and he brings them home and puts them in his drawer. This is really a story for another blog but since I'm on the subject. Cade went on his first field trip to a farm. One of his best friends, Lily Doxey was there too. Lily and Cade are not in the same class though. A couple times Lily came over to talk to Cade and they sat by each other for lunch. Two of the times Kadie saw Cade with Lily she kept saying, "Caden Edgerton, Caden Edgerton, Caden Edgerton". Cade would look shy and Lily would just smile her smile. It was pretty funny.

Halloween morning (10/31/08)

On Halloween morning we had ghost pancakes to start the day. Jackson loves it because he has the same name as him. This year they wanted Mad Jack to have fangs since the two older boys were vampires for Halloween.

Gavin has a raw pumpkin seed in between his teeth that was dropped on the floor. All he cared about was eating the cupcakes when the carving was done. He sat on the table and gaurded those cupcakes til it was time to eat them. I had to keep an eye on him or he might be the only one to get cupcakes that night.

The boys favorite part is turning off all the lights in the house and watching Mad Jack glow.

My favorite part is eating the pumpkin seeds. The boys do enjoy that too. Every year it seems I try a different recipe. This year I found a keeper. Sweet and Spicy. The boys loved them(although they do love Hot Cheetos too). The website I got it from had all sorts of different seasonings. Here's the recipe if anyone wants to try it out next year:

1. Do a mediocre job of separating the goo and guts from the actual seeds. Don’t rinse them or they won’t taste as good.

2. Add salt to the seeds. I suggest 1 teaspoon for every 2 cups of seeds.

3. Add the melted butter. I use 1 tablespoon.

4. Mix the salt (and/or seasonings), melted butter and seeds and then spread them on the baking sheet.

5. Roast them at 300 degrees for about 30 minutes. Stir them halfway through.

6. Take them out and eat them.

Pumpkin Seed Seasoning Ideas:

Sweet and Spicy: quarter cup sugar, 1 teaspoon salt and half teaspoon cayenne pepper.

Curry: 1 tablespoon curry powder, 1 teaspoon salt

Spicy Garlic: 1 tablespoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon salt, half teaspoon cayenne pepper Southwest: 2 teaspoons cumin, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon salt, half teaspoon cayenne pepper

Roasted pumpkin seeds will keep for about a week in the fridge.

Haloween Packages from Aunt Steph (10/18/08) & Grandma and Grandpa (10/22/08)

The boys were excited when a package came from Aunt Stephanie in the mail. He even described it to grandma over the phone when she called. He loved the mummy on it. The mummy is the "A" on the card. We went last year and decided this had to be a family tradition to start off our Halloween and fall season. Since it is still so hot this time of year it helps us realize fall has begun. Chad took a vacation day and the kids were on fall break.

The roller coaster ride is by far our favorite. We go on the other rides some, but the coaster we go on over and over and over. Chad and I took turns watching Gavin while the other went with the older boys. Last year Jack wasn't big enough to ride and he cried and cried. I was 8 months pregnant with Gavin at the time so I just stayed with Jack. This year he was tall enough and he loved it. So did I. I love the look on the kids faces in the picture with Chad.

We saw the Billy Bob pig races. Billy Bob would pick 3 or 4 kids to come up and pick a pig to race and if they won they got a big plastic pig nose to wear. Billy Bob then picked 3 adults for the goat races and I was one of them. Of course I had to pick the blue bandana in the middle since all of my boys favorite color is blue. My goat was in the lead and we thought he was going to win but then he hopped the fence. The lady on the end there won. Oh well....sorry boys.

Chad took the boys on a ride in these pedal pushing carts. When he got back he asked if I wanted to take Cade and Jack. Dylan took off to ride a singleton bike. Sure..why not...looks like fun. Oh, My!!!!! First of all, Cade and Jacks feet don't hit the pedals so I was the only one pushing them. Second of all, there were a ton of hills once you went around the bend. When I came out the exit I had to call Chad over to bring the car the rest of the way in. That was embarrasing since there was a guy and his family waiting behind me. He was nice about it though. My legs hurt for days after that workout.

While on the go carts Gavin hung out in the hay. We ate some really good food and snacks and ended the night at the Sweet Candy Shop. That's how we ended it last year too. We missed the fireworks this year because we were so tired we couldn't wait another hour. We did see them last year...that's enough to hold us. They all fell asleep on the way home except for Dylan.

Arizona Voters

I saw this on someone else's blog and had to put it on mine too since I'm a big advocate for yes on prop 102 and since tomarrow is election day. I like to write whenever the kids say something funny so I never forget. I had the boys out past their bedtime tonight...so on the way home I asked them to get ready for bed as soon as they got home and to go straight to bed. I told them no talking tonight..that I needed them to get some sleep because they have a big day tomarrow(Halloween parties at school and trunk or treat). Dylan then said, "Yes, we need to go right to sleep because we have a big day tomarrow and we're going to get lots of candy." Cade then proceeded to say in a funny voice, "I truly appreciate that, but I can't have any candy." Dylan and I both cracked up laughing. I asked him where he got that from. He said he heard it on the Disney Cars movie. I'll have to watch it again to see where that part is.

Vote For Dylan and Cade

We entered the boys into a Haloween Costume contest. He's been doing that alot with Gavin lately since all his teeth are coming in. He also lets them put their finger in his mouth and once again they think that's so funny. Jack hasn't out grown this game. Yesterday, Chad was on the couch watching some football and Jack came up to him with his finger pointed at him so Chad opened his mouth and growled at him....thinking he was playing the game. Jack did put his finger in his mouth and Chad could feel him wipe something on his teeth. Chad yelled yuck and spit a booger out of his mouth as he says, "What is that a booger!!!!!!" I can hardly write this because I'm laughing so hard. I just can't stop laughing about it. Jack thinks it's pretty funny too. Aparently Jack wasn't playing the game...he merely was trying to tell dad he needed a tissue because he had a booger. Although this picture isn't the best due to the sunlight(I'm too lazy to fix it on photoshop tonight) I thought it was perfect because it shows what a little stinker he is.

On a side note: On the way home from church this morning Cade showed me what he did in primary today. He said, "I didn't have time to finish coloring it though because I was too busy folding my arms."

Today the boys sang in the primary program at church. I always love watching them sing. Dylan did a great job. He never sings and today he did. Next year Jack will join them...I can't believe how fast they're growing.

Last Years Halloween Costumes

Here are my two little old men with horse shoe haircuts. For those of you who didn't see their costumes from last year....YES we DID shave their heads!!! It was soooo much fun putting together these costumes. They are everything to me. We don't have a current family picture with Gavin so I added a picture of him. Next month we hope to have a family picture with our newest addition. Jack has changed so much in that top picture from two years ago.

Friends: Also...can't live without. I love my friends...old and new. Some I keep in better contact with than others, but that doesn't change the way I feel about them. Sadly...the closer I live to you...the better in contact I keep. That is why I am so thankful for blogging. It has helped me to reconnect with friends that me alot to me. So I may be beating a dead horse.... but Bobbi, Lacey, Amy and Ashley.....you all need to start that blog soon. And Elaine...I'm happy to see you put more photo's on your photography blog. I'm still waiting for your family blog to get started too.

:-)

Food and Cooking: I love to cook and anyone who knows me well knows I love to eat! I can live without cooking I suppose but I can't live without eating.

Shopping: I love to shop. I love to shop for everything except groceries (unless I need to get out of the house for a break and Chad's watching the kids...then I don't mind). :-) Something I can live without if I must.

Diet Coke: Melissa, you and I both. I think college is where I picked up this habit. Use to be something that I couldn't live without. Since I have been pregnant or nursing the last 20 months I have learned to live without it. I still love it though. In the next month I'm hoping not to make a daily habit of it again. Instead I hope to just drink it when I go out to eat. Wish me luck.

Ice Cream: Like it. Love it. Gotta have it. Gotta have it every time. I love every form of ice cream. Cone, sundae, ice cream cake, popsicle, Dibs, ice cream cookie...you name it. My favorite though....is homemade lime ice cream. Thanks Erin for introducing that to me in college. That will forever be a favorite.

Fall and Holidays: I love fall and the start of all the holidays that follow. I love taking pictures, photoshop, scrapbooking and now blogging. I have a long way to go in perfecting my photography, but I'm enjoying the ride.

Reading: I love to read. I posted the two books I'm reading right now..."Eclipse" and "To Draw Closer To God". I know I'm reading two books at the same time, but ones fiction and the other isn't...so that helps. Other books I've read this year are: The Kite Runner, The Secret Between Us, Twlight, New Moon, Turnaround, and Before the Dawn. Also...not to mention all the kids books my children like me to read to them, which I also enjoy doing. I haven't read as much as I would have liked this year, but not bad when you have a family of 6 to take care of and other hobbies such as photos and scrapbooking.

Thanks Mel for the tag. This was my first one. Let's see...who do I want to tag for the first time? Sharlet and Carlene. You're officially tagged.

The Annual Edgerton Harper "Get Out of the Heat" Getaway (9/13/08)

Every year the Harper's and Edgerton's plan a trip to get out of the heat in September. Last year we went to Flagstaff, Arizona and the Grand Canyon. This year we went to San Diego, California. Gavin just loved crawling around the sand and water. By the end he had sand all over his face. I kept trying to get pictures of him and he kept crawling towards me as fast as he could trying to grab the camera with his wet, sandy hands.

Cade "The Body"...as Dad always calls him. I don't have any pictures of Lacey because Steve threatend me not to put any pictures of him on my blog and all the pictures I had of Lacey...Steve was in the background. By the way Steve....I was so close to putting a picture of you as my top heading picture as a joke for the day. If it was April Fools...I would have.

Dylan absolutely loved the beach. A lot of my pictures came out soft this day but my pictures of Dylan were flat out blurry. He was constantly moving around in the waves having a blast. So I didn't get as many pics of him that came out as a result. He got braver and braver as the day went on. By the end of the day he was body surfing pretty far out letting the waves toss him around.

The kids had fun on the boat too. Here is a picture of Steve and Jack....of course I had to cut Steve out. Later Steve took the boat out himself and went surfing with it. It was entertainment for Amy, Chad and I. Some of those waves were pretty big and we got to witness Steve being tossed out of that boat like a rag doll. He even got some laughs from people watching nearby. I did see him nail a wave perfectly and ride it in.

The end of the day. I'm calling everyone in...time to go eat. We had a great time.

Before our trip to San Diego...the boys and I went to visit family in Monrovia, California while Chad was on a business trip. We stayed with Aunt Stacie and had a great time. Stacie took some time off work to spend with us. Papa came and took the boys out for breakfast and Stacie and I just hung out. It was nice to spend some time with her. Then we went out for Sushi. One of my favorite things to do when we visit. The boys actually liked it so I'll start bring them here in Arizona. I found out that Gavin loves tofu. He couldn't get enough of it. Then we went to Papa's and the boys got to play with their cousins James, Chasen, and Parker. We also spent time with Aunt Shelley and Aunt Starla and cousin Amber. Of course I forgot my camera at Stacie's....so no pics of Papa, Shelley, Starla or the cousins. Nana had the flu so we didn't get to spend much time with her or Grandpa Don. On our way out of town to San Diego we did meet them at the park to say hello. We couldn't come this far without a visit...it just didn't seem right.

Loosing Teeth (6/15/08)

Okay...it's been awhile since I've posting anything. I'm going to try and mix some old pictures from through out the year that I'd like to have for memories and journal purposes along with my newer pictures. This picture is from June 15, 2008. Holy cow Dylan....can you lose anymore teeth? We took his baptism pictures on June 10th and he still had both upper teeth although if you look closely (I'll be adding those pictures soon) you can tell both top front teeth are loose. I was in such a hurry to take those before he lost all his teeth. I figured we could get those cute pictures with missing teeth on his baptism day...which we did. The top right tooth was really lose the day of his baptism and it fell out the next day. Today his right eye tooth is lose and he has also lost his left eye tooth. Talk about all at once. He loves it though...another tooth to give the tooth fairy is always a good thing.

Cade's Birthday (This past April)

Cade celebrated his birthday with Great Grandma Edgerton this year. Not only did my computer break but my video player wasn't working either. Not the video and the pictures.......at the same time. I was counting the dollar signs. I can't live without either one for too long. That would mean missing out on too many memories. Chad started messing with the inside of the computer. I asked him what he was doing. I told him he wasn't a computer guy and he better stop before he makes things worse. Well, I ate my words. He found a loose piece and fixed it. It was just the power button. Thank you, thank you, thank you! While he was doing that I looked online on Chad's notebook and typed in the error code on my video camera. About 10 different people said to hit it as gently and as hard as you can on a certain part of the camera. Unbelievable...that worked too! So this picture of Chad has nothing to do with my post, but since I was talking about him I thought I would put this one on because it cracks me up that he can get his leg up that high. He was at the father son campout this spring when someone took this picture of him kicking a marshmellow. You can see it on the left of the picture.

Wrestling

My boys love to wrestle. These are some of their pictures from earlier this year. This top picture is Dylan, Cade and yes...even Jack Jack with Coach Douglas and some other boys on their team. Jack isn't on the team yet..not til he's 4, but don't tell him that. He is always jumping in if he can. They are excited to start it up again, but the season doesn't start until March. In the meantime Dylan wants to play baseball and Cade wants to play soccer.

Above is Dylan in action.

Cade in his wrestling stance waiting for the whistle.

Jack in Cade's uniform showing us his stance. Lilly and Grace are definately on this list. We joke around that Cade and Lilly will get married someday(this started when Cade called her Lilly Edgerton and Lily just knew he did that because he wanted to marry her). Sharlet is always telling me another funny story of what Lilly has said. The latest: She turns to Dylan during dinner and tells him, "I love you Dylan, but I'm marrying the boy who is sitting across from me(Cade). Of course Dylan and Cade had no comment. Then she told her mom that Chad will be the Grandpa to her children. So Lilly...who knows what will happen someday...but we would love to have you as part of our family!

The second picture was taken after Dylan and Cade's wrestling match and Jack's itty bitty sports. I'd say Lacey and Jace are more like family than friends. I was roomates with their mom and Chad was roomates with their dad in college. We still hang out with each other and our kids have now become good friends too.

The third picture is Cade and his buddy Ethan. We were hoping they would be in the same kindergarten class together. Unfortunately out of all the people we know going into kindergarten this year....Cade didn't even have one of them in his class. Although there are 10 kindergarten classes at his school. He still gets to play with Ethan at Lunch and at church and he loves going to play at his house or having him over to play at ours.

All of Dylan's closest friends have moved away in the last year with the exception of Lilly, Grace, Lacey and Jace. Dylan has no problems meeting new friends. He always has a handful. He is definately the most outgoing in our family.

Joining the Blog World

Hurray we're finally part of the blog world.
